The CinePearl Take
Lead newcomer Ji‑woo Kim delivers a quietly powerful performance, embodying a mother torn between survival and hope with scarcely spoken words. Park’s direction balances tension and tenderness, letting the story breathe while never losing its urgent undercurrent. The film’s recurring motif of wilted tropical flora underscores a theme of ecological grief that lingers long after the credits roll.
