The CinePearl Take
The standout is newcomer Maya Torres, whose haunted eyes anchor the film’s emotional core while the supporting cast flits between menace and sympathy. Wadlow’s pacing is relentless—he builds dread in tight, 12‑minute set pieces that never let the tension breathe. Thematically, the movie probes how far a person will go to silence their own sins, using the literal “devil’s mouth” of a subterranean radio tower as a chilling metaphor. Though the climax leans into genre clichés, the journey there feels fresh enough to merit a second look.
