The CinePearl Take
Bonnet’s patient pacing rewards viewers who trust the film’s visual language, letting dread build through sound design rather than cheap jump‑scares. The unnamed lead, played with restrained intensity, anchors the narrative’s emotional core as the community spirals into panic. Themes of faith versus superstition ripple beneath the surface, making the climax feel both inevitable and unsettling.
