Why Watch This

It blends slap‑stick comedy with a surprisingly earnest look at India’s sanitation crisis, turning a public‑health issue into a crowd‑pleasing love story. Akshay Kumar’s larger‑than‑life charisma and Bhumi Pednekar’s grounded performance keep the message from feeling preachy.

The CinePearl Take

Director Shree Narayan Singh manages a breezy pace that never lets the satire drag, while the chemistry between Kumar and Pednekar anchors the film’s emotional core. Divyenndu delivers a scene‑stealing comic turn that adds texture to the otherwise straightforward narrative. The movie succeeds when it lets humor illuminate the seriousness of its theme, though it occasionally leans on formulaic tropes.
