The CinePearl Take
Allard’s patient pacing lets each personal story breathe, turning what could be a simple school portrait into a meditation on memory and regret. The most striking performance comes from the former principal, whose quiet honesty anchors the narrative. The film’s recurring motif—old yearbooks resurfacing in dusty lockers—beautifully underscores the theme that the past is never truly gone.
