The CinePearl Take
Segura’s return as José Luis Torrente is as unapologetically crass as ever, with his signature physical comedy anchoring a plot that skewers election hype. The pacing is relentless, delivering gag after gag while the film’s underlying commentary on media manipulation feels surprisingly sharp for a low‑brow romp. Though the jokes can be hit‑or‑miss, the sheer audacity of a corrupt cop running for president keeps the energy high.
