The CinePearl Take

Verma’s direction is deliberate, allowing the city’s pulse to become a silent character that amplifies the protagonist’s inner turmoil. Saif Ali Khan shines in his most subdued role yet, delivering a performance that balances quiet desperation with quiet strength. The pacing may test patience, but the film’s thematic focus on moral compromise rewards attentive viewers. By the final act, the narrative’s moral ambiguity feels both unsettling and thought‑provoking.
