The CinePearl Take

Sunny Deol commands every frame as Tara Singh, delivering a mix of brute strength and heartfelt vulnerability that anchors the film’s emotional core. The pacing swings between relentless battle sequences and tender, tear‑jerking moments, keeping the audience invested in the lovers’ fate. Amrish Puri provides a formidable antagonist whose presence adds gravitas to the conflict, while the film’s exploration of love across a shattered nation remains resonant decades later.
