The CinePearl Take

Park Gyu‑tae’s direction keeps the pacing relentless, never allowing the gags to stall between explosions. The (uncredited) lead duo—an ex‑banker turned reluctant spy and his tech‑savvy wife—bring a chemistry that feels both absurd and oddly relatable, especially in the scene where they improvise a kitchen‑counter car chase. The film’s underlying theme of partnership under pressure adds a surprisingly heartfelt layer to the mayhem.
