The CinePearl Take
Etzler’s direction balances manic energy with tight storytelling, never letting the chaos stall. Sofia Mendes shines as the nervous town clerk who unexpectedly becomes the mastermind behind the caper, delivering a performance that is both vulnerable and wickedly cunning. The film’s pacing is relentless, with rapid‑fire dialogue and sudden twists that keep the audience off‑balance, while its underlying theme—how ordinary people can become the most dangerous “bad apples”—adds a surprisingly resonant bite.
