The CinePearl Take

Ayan Mukerji’s debut into the mythic‑action arena is undeniably bold, but the film’s pacing suffers under the weight of its own ambition. Alia Bhatt shines, infusing her character with both vulnerability and fierce determination, while Amitabh Bachchan’s cameo provides a gravitas that anchors the sprawling narrative. The visual design is spectacular, yet the story often feels over‑stuffed, leaving some of the thematic depth—such as the clash between destiny and free will—under‑explored.
