The CinePearl Take

Mammootty’s portrayal of Inspector Christopher is a masterclass in controlled intensity; he conveys world‑weary determination without ever slipping into melodrama. The film’s pacing is deliberately taut, with each act unveiling a new layer of corruption that feels both timely and unsettling. Unnikrishnan’s direction shines in the chase sequences, where the city’s neon‑lit backstreets become a character in their own right. While the narrative occasionally leans on genre clichés, the thematic focus on institutional decay gives the story a resonant edge.
