The CinePearl Take
Mettler’s patient pacing lets the seasons become characters in their own right, and the moments when a lone farmer explains traditional seed‑saving techniques feel like quiet revelations. The film’s soundscape—wind through reeds, distant birdcalls, and the subtle hum of a solar farm—adds a tactile layer that grounds the abstract ideas. While the narrative is deliberately unhurried, it rewards patience with a nuanced meditation on regeneration and responsibility.
