The CinePearl Take
The lead’s restrained performance conveys terror without resorting to melodrama, letting the audience feel the suffocating panic of being buried alive. Sajimon Prabhakar’s direction turns a single, dimly lit well into a pressure‑cooker set piece, while the monsoon‑soaked cinematography makes the landscape feel like an additional antagonist. Though the script occasionally drifts into sentimental territory, the relentless pacing and tight editing keep the tension high from start to finish.
