The CinePearl Take

Jacob’s direction keeps the narrative brisk, never allowing the sentimental moments to feel overwrought. The breakout performance by newcomer Anjali Menon as the rebellious daughter adds a gritty realism that anchors the film’s humor. While the pacing occasionally lurches during the middle act, the final act’s resolution delivers a satisfying emotional payoff, underscoring the theme that love can bridge even the widest generational gaps.
