The CinePearl Take
Nacho Vigalondo’s debut is a masterclass in economical storytelling, turning a single forest lab into a labyrinth of paradoxes. Karra Elejalde anchors the chaos with a quietly frantic performance that makes Héctor’s desperation palpable. The film’s deliberate pacing lets each revelation land with weight, while the minimalist score amplifies the growing dread. Timecrimes proves that big ideas don’t need big budgets, only precise direction.
