The CinePearl Take

Manmohan Desai’s direction keeps the film’s sprawling narrative surprisingly tight, allowing each brother’s storyline to shine without dragging. Vinod Khanna’s charismatic turn as Amar anchors the drama, while Neetu Singh’s bubbly performance as the love interest adds sparkle. The film’s soundtrack, especially the title track, remains a cultural touchstone, and the chemistry among the ensemble cast fuels its enduring charm.
