The CinePearl Take

Renée Nader Messora and João Salaviza co‑direct with a delicate touch, letting the landscape speak as loudly as any dialogue. The film’s deliberate pacing may test impatient viewers, but it rewards those who linger with a resonant sense of place. While the cast remains anonymous, the ensemble delivers naturalistic performances that feel like real conversations caught on a breezy afternoon. Themes of ecological stewardship and intergenerational trauma weave together, making the drama feel both intimate and universal.
