The CinePearl Take

James Remar surprisingly steals the spotlight with a gritty, dead‑pan turn that anchors the film’s more absurd moments. Green’s direction keeps the pacing brisk, never allowing the jokes to overstay their welcome while the plot barrels forward. Beneath the smoke‑filled antics, the movie explores loyalty and the absurdity of chasing the American Dream on a haze of marijuana.
