The CinePearl Take

David Dhawan’s direction keeps the pacing brisk, never allowing a joke to linger long enough to feel stale. Govinda shines as the street‑wise coolie, turning every misunderstanding into pure comic gold, while Kader Khan provides the perfect foil with his dead‑pan delivery. The film’s flamboyant aesthetic and catchy soundtrack underscore its self‑aware embrace of farce, making it a guilty‑pleasure classic rather than a serious drama.
