The CinePearl Take

Demoustier’s restrained direction lets the town’s collective anxiety breathe, while newcomer Léa Moreau delivers a quietly powerful performance as the archivist who becomes the movement’s reluctant voice. The pacing is deliberate, rewarding patience with moments of raw emotional payoff. Themes of communal memory versus modernization feel especially resonant in today’s fast‑changing world, making “The Great Arch” a modest yet unforgettable slice of contemporary French drama.
