Why Watch This

A haunting portrait of a lone survivor navigating a zombie‑infested Paris, the film leans into atmosphere over gore to make the emptiness feel palpable. Dominique Rocher’s tight framing and muted palette turn every silent hallway into a character of its own, offering a fresh, introspective spin on the genre.

The CinePearl Take

Anders Danielsen Lie delivers a quietly riveting performance, embodying the weariness of a man who must confront both external monsters and his own dwindling sanity. The film’s deliberate pacing lets tension build slowly, making each encounter feel inevitable and unsettling. Rocher’s use of long takes and natural lighting amplifies the sense of isolation, while the occasional flashbacks hint at the world that was lost, underscoring the theme that survival is as much a mental battle as a physical one.
