The CinePearl Take
Gong Hyo‑jin steals the show, delivering a performance that balances vulnerability with lethal precision, making her character’s moral ambiguity the series’ emotional core. Directors Yoon Jong‑ho and Kim Ji‑hoon orchestrate set‑piece chases that feel both cinematic and grounded, though the middle episodes occasionally stumble under their own ambition. The thematic exploration of justice versus vengeance is handled with a gritty realism that sets the show apart from typical action fare.
