The CinePearl Take
Director Giacomo Martelli crafts a visual feast, letting the azure sea and pastel façades do much of the storytelling while the dialogue crackles with regional wit. The standout performance comes from the hotel’s matriarch, whose icy composure masks a tender vulnerability that anchors the series’ emotional core. Pacing is deliberately measured, allowing secrets to surface organically and giving viewers time to savor each character’s hidden motives.
