The CinePearl Take
Kang Sang‑jun finally steps out of the musical spotlight and proves he can command a screen with subtle menace and surprising vulnerability. The series balances slow‑burn romance with sharp, sardonic humor, though the pacing occasionally stalls in the middle episodes. Its central theme—questioning whether love can flourish from darkness—offers a fresh, if risky, emotional payoff.
