The CinePearl Take
David Suchet delivers a chillingly restrained turn as the patriarch whose past catches up with him, while Sally Bretton shines as the au pair with hidden motives. Kearney’s direction maintains a tight, breath‑shortening pace, letting each revelation land with maximum impact. The series explores trust and betrayal in the most intimate of settings, making the ordinary feel menacing.
