The CinePearl Take
Director Shamim Sarif and Jacqueline Pepall strike a confident balance between sleek, tech‑savvy aesthetics and intimate character moments, allowing the series to breathe without sacrificing momentum. Keys shines brightest in the quieter scenes, where her nuanced vulnerability grounds the show’s more high‑octane plot twists. Supporting turns from Cale Ambrozic and Olly Atkins add texture, but the series occasionally stumbles when it leans too heavily on industry jargon, slowing the pacing in the middle episodes.
