The CinePearl Take
Lead actress Ella McAllister turns the motel’s weary receptionist into a magnetic anti‑hero, anchoring the series with a blend of sarcasm and vulnerability. The pacing is deliberately measured, allowing the scenic shots of the coastline to breathe while the tension tightens with each clue. Themes of isolation and community intersect, making the show feel both intimate and expansive.
