The CinePearl Take
Nam Ji‑hyun shines as Gong Yeon‑soo, grounding the absurd premise with a surprisingly tender vulnerability that makes her internal conflict feel real. Kim Jae‑young’s comic timing as Dokgo Dal is a highlight, delivering both slapstick laughs and moments of unexpected sincerity. The show’s pacing balances rapid‑fire jokes with quieter, character‑driven scenes, allowing the central theme—tradition versus contemporary love—to breathe without feeling preachy.
