The CinePearl Take
The series shines thanks to its lead—a fresh face who delivers a hauntingly restrained performance, embodying Paolo’s conflicted silence with barely‑visible tremors. Director Claire Moreau paces the eight‑part arc deliberately, allowing the city’s fog‑laden streets to become a character in their own right. Themes of identity, loyalty, and the price of ambition unfold with a lyrical patience that rewards attentive viewers.
